Third assignment in Pikaland bootcamp = choose an artist that you like, pick one thing about their work that you like and use it in your own artwork.

I chose Dick Frizzell, an amazing New Zealand artist. The picture I did was based on a photo taken on a trip to Melbourne last year. It was a great holiday, the highlights included seeing Avenue Q, visiting some great galleries and consuming lots and lots of wonderful food..nom nom nom. This is a short explanation for the rather overdramatic lettering "Michelle pines for Melbourne" (I had to include lettering- its very Frizzell).
